The John Hosier (Practice) Annexe forms part of the Guildhall school of Music & Drama and provides performance and practice areas for students enrolled on courses at the main school.

The project was to provide an L1 system conforming to BS5839 Part 1 (2017).  Due to the nature and usage of the building it had to be completed during the Easter break. The system comprises of an Advanced MxPro5, 4 loop Panel and Apollo protocol field devices. The building is of concrete construction. The client’s main concern regarding the aesthetics of the building was overcome by the use of white FP cable being hidden within the fabric of the building. The project was installed, commissioned and approved by Building Control on time and on budget and has subsequently been externally audited by LPS under the vigorous LPS-1014 standard with zero findings!
